Week 1 against good Bills defense:
Jets Running Backs: 24 carries, 166 yards

Week 2 against Cowboys defense
Jets Running Backs: 10 carries, 24 yards
The game circumstances forced them out of running the ball.

Yup! Doomsday 1 and 2 weren't dominant in every game. And they weren't always #1 defenses on the season.

I would have no hesitation in calling this Doomsday III. Hits high marks in all 3 key areas: Yard repression, Lots of sacks... and abundant turnovers. But as with previous Doomsday units we shouldn't expect it to dominate every game, which I have no doubt some fans here will fail to appreciate. (Not speaking to you on that :) )

Cowboys in 1990s was Doomsday III. Rankings - 1992: 5; 1993: 2; 1994,95 & 96: 3. Super Bowl wins: 3. Super Bowl MVPs: 1.
Doomsday 1 1970s
Doomsday 2 early 90s
Doomsday 3 present day
My perspective anyway.
Saw all 3 play and they're all comparable.
