An absolute legend. When I was a little kid I went to MSG the night he pinned the Iron Sheik. Bob Backlund was supposed to be in the match and the Hulk took his spot. Great live sporting event of my life. What a shame. May he rest in peace.

Sorry to hear of this...

I wasn't a big Hogan fan, but he certainly left a lasting mark (worked in a wrestling term there) on the business.

I was a bigger fan when he first entered the then WWWF as a heel around 1979 under the tutelage of Classie Freddie Blassie.

I cut out of my summer job in 1981 to go home to watch the wrestling special on the Phil Donahue show, which marked Hogan's face turn intro into the AWA.

Was never really a fan, but he drew the crowds and was pretty good on the mic. Rest in peace

Pop culture icon.... He was as my non-football sports "hero" for about 5-6 years. Had his faults but I was a kid and that didn't matter to me then, RIP Hulkster.

Thank you. The Hulk hate is surprising to me. Was he perfect? No. 99.9pct of the athletes and entertainers have skeletons.
There’s skeletons and there’s what he was. I find it sad what he became. As a child I watched him on TV every Monday night and he was apart of my childhood. I’ve had a lot of fond memories and moments of him then. And unlike him I’m going to show decency and respect that he refused to show others and wish him to find peace in the after life but I certainly understand those who were hurt by him not doing so.
