I disagree. The Chargers aren’t weak. The Patriots aren’t weak. The Vikings just stood toe to toe with the Ravens — they aren’t weak either. Heck, even the Giants beat the Raiders today.

It’s disingenuous to say the Cowboys’ wins are “cheap”. They’ve beaten good teams

This, loved Jwooten post. Now next week against the falcons, if that game looks anything like this one we have a problem. After this lackluster performance they should be ready to run thru a brick wall next Sunday.
 
If this team can recover and use this to improve then it was exactly what they needed. But if they look bad again next week, this could be the beginning of the end. We will see...

Just look at KC - their elite offense that looked unstoppable for 3 years now looks like the Jets because defenses have adjusted to exploit their weaknesses over the last month.

Hopefully KC will still be struggling on O when we play them but something tells me differently.

MM didn’t help! What happened to playing the field of position battle? And I’m not just referring to his 4th down calling, but what is up with the punter?

Can’t he punt the ball high and short of the end zone, too many of the punts went into the end zone….

Yep. No excuses. We sucked. Got to own it and get to work. Good teams face adversity and bounce back. We’re about to see what this team is made of.

All week long, I, myself and many others here, hand fed our players with every compliment imaginable. Mea culpa, we screwed up. :grin:
From now on, may the good Lord permit me to carefully realize they're merely human and not just some figment of my imagination! :huh:

It's what I had hoped we'd NOT do. Like you...I'm okay with a loss...it happens.

But I want to look adept, competent, competitive.

Sucks to say it, but I hope this at least a wake up call....none should be needed.
