I don't get it. At all

It's marketing schtick as there will be some big wrestling event at Jerry Dome coming up...or there is a co-marketing opportunity Jerry couldn't pass up.

I thought it was kinda funny...but it would have worked better if the wrestler in question was in fact himself intimidating. Maybe he was back in the day. Also...his acting was a tad flat.
