Dan Snyder paid around $70 million for a 224-foot yacht

Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder is now the proud owner of a $70 million 224-foot "super-yacht."
The Washington Post's Reliable Source reports that Snyder's recent purchase, the Lady Anne, is one of the 100 biggest yachts in the world. Snyder bought the yacht with a group of investors for around the same price that he'll spend on two-thirds of his Commanders payroll for the year. (Or, if you want to look at it a different way, the yacht cost $30 million less than it took to secure the rights to Albert Haynesworth(notes) in free agency.)

That being said, its not a waste if you can afford it and you use it.

now thats living with a big big yard. I am right there with you. Id be on the sea and enjoying life. You can dock at new places, privacy when you want it and peace and quiet that which solitude and a night at sea can only bring.

My dad had a Bertram. I fished on it dozens of times. I can definitively say that should you have the option, get the Hatteras.

Bertram's are known for their sea-worthiness. However, they are rounded from the bottom to the hull, which means they are constantly rocking - even in light chop. I am fairly confident that if I had looked closely at the side of my childhood Weeble Wobble toy boat, it would have said "Bertram".

You can get them now with anti-rolling gyros. Dramatically reduces the side to side rocking you mention.

I think I would probably lean towards the Hatteras anyway.

Then again I can't afford an aluminum john boat right now so it is all day dreaming anyway. :laugh2:
