This is just an example of JFE's thought process before writing her articles ..


JFE: Who did Parcells decide will start next week?

Staff: He said Bledsoe I think.

JFE: The title of my article will be, "Parcells once again lets his loyalty screw over the Cowboys by keeping the sack-in-waiting has-been quarterback rather than going with the quarterback of the future who many say is the second coming of Brett Favre."

Staff: Oh, I was wrong. He said Romo is starting.

JFE: Okay, then the title of my article will be, "Parcells throws the season away as he relies on an unproven undrafted quarterback while the former all-pro veteran and proven point scorer goes to the bench."

Perfect. It would be funnier if it weren't so spot on though.

That pretty much goes for the majority of "reporters" out there.

Just out of curiosity... what are her credentials for knowing anything about football?

She seems to have a lot of power and influence (radio show, column) for someone who seems to have a very superficial knowledge of the sport.
