Watching tonight's game and rooting for Philly, just for a chance at a playoff spot, is like date night without Viagra. Bare with me here. First, Dallas plays the role of our woman and waits til it is almost too late to make our reservation. So we rush and hurry out the door and still have to depend on traffic lights (the refs) and other people's driving (Wild Card worthy teams) just to make our destination. So now we are at the restaurant. You can already see the exhaustion setting in. The frustration of the drive here. The stress of getting to this point.
Now the meals come out. The Ahi Tuna Sashimi appetizer (Baltimore beating Detroit) was excellent. Then came the Filet Mignon (Minnesota beating Atlanta) and it was succulent. The Garlic and Parmesan Fried Potatoes (New Orleans beating Carolina) had an awesome crust outside with a soft and flaky center. Only complaint you really have about dinner was the Asparagus was a little soggy (Green Bay beating Tampa Bay). All in all a great meal that was started and finished with quite a few glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon.
I got to hand it to you, everything is working out well. Great small talk, excellent food, and the drinks kept flowing for you both. Even a safe ride home was prepared ahead of time just in case. So you make it home after a great night and romance is immanent. It's time to seal the deal of what should be a great night with our woman (Dallas), sadly we are discovering the wine is still kicking in and we have a problem (Philly lost to Seattle). We may have drank far too much and there is no Viagra.
LMAO!!!!
