LeBron's a much more efficient scorer than Kobe's ever been, a better/more versatile defender than Kobe's ever been, a better rebounder than Kobe's ever been, a better passer than Kobe's ever been, and has had a higher PER than Kobe in all but two seasons of his career (including each of the last five seasons).

Oh, and rings are a team accomplishment. Basketball's a team sport.

I get all that, but I still wont rate him over Kobe. Some things aren't on paper, like will to win. I still think Kobe has an edge over Lebron.

They do have different personalities. Kobe's sickly competitive but that also makes him a more naturally selfish player. Ask Shaq or Phil.

LeBron's less competitive but still a very hard worker, a good leader, and an extremely unselfish player who makes his teammates better and whose teammates have always loved playing with him.

Give me LeBron's personality and talent over Kobe's. In my opinion, it's not even close.
