Hi All

So I thought it was time to try something different. I traded down with the Jets and got us a DAWG for the OL. Something this team has been sorely lacking. We need people who want to FIGHT. We dont have that. We have a bunch of softies on this team and this one pick changes that. It also gives us depth where we need it. Let me know what you all think of this.

Also I know I didnt address the safety position as high as people wanted, but I drafted an EDGE because really I think we are thin there, and that will help the safeties we currently have.

Don’t like either of the first two picks. Because neither might nor even play all that much as rookies.

I can guarantee Jenkins plays at some point. And who do we have for depth behind Dlaw. Oweh would be playing.

Oweh is extremely raw and showed little production at PSU despite his physical traits. I wouldn't count on much from him as a rookie, even if he did play quite a bit.

Jenkins value is at OT, not OG. And if Smith and Collins are mostly healthy, you aren't getting the best value from Jenkins.

Exactly. Trust me. I usually dont even trade out of first and if I do its for Horn. I usually dont go offense in the first round ever. If you go look at my other drafts. This is just a change of pace.

I like Jenkins, but I don't know that I would take him at 23. Who else was available?

I know Oweh wowed some people at his pro-day but I wonder if he is just an athlete and not a football player. I like Tyson Campbell a lot and Jamin Davis too although I don't see Davis lasting until 75.

What do you see in Dazz Newsome that led you to take him at WR? Was he really the BPA or even the best WR available?

In general, all the mocks I have run just playing around, I found that trading down allowed me to find good players in rounds 2 and 3. I see no harm in trading down in this draft and selecting multiple player at positions of need then letting them compete.

Didn’t Oweh have zero sacks this past season?
