I'm not sure how I feel about these films. I've read the books and they've executed them well, but still something feels a little lackluster.

Anyway, I'll probably still see it.

Late November release? I'm not sure when the first one was but that is usually a sign it's not that good.

I believe this was the planned release date that was announced when the first film came out.

Not sure why you'd say that. Mid to late November often has high quality films.

August-October and January-February is when the crap comes out.

Yeah, just in time for the holidays when everybody is spending money hand over fist. I, unfortunately, don't like going to see movies in the theater anymore. People don't know what the phrase 'movie-going etiquette' means nowadays.

I know what you mean. I always go at times when it's likely to be empty and I never go to a movie the first weekend it's out.

Even with that though, I'll sometimes get that one piece of crap couple come into the theater (where the only other people in it are me and my wife) and they sit RIGHT FREAKING BEHIND US.

Then, of course, the piece of crap couple can't keep quiet and keep kicking my wife's chair, never mine. That is until I turn around and threaten their freaking lives (which after the Colorado shooting, it works extremely well).

A little common freaking courtesy goes a long way.

For those that don't know.

There is a japanese film called Battle Royale.

It is from a book that was out before hunger games and the movie was out before hunger games.

It is much more brutal and an overall better film in my opinion...just a little older, foreign and not slicked up like Hollywood likes to do some movies.

Personally I like it better.

So for those that like Hunger Games but think it is a little sterile or too hollywood and if you like asian films...you can probably find the Battle Royale movie someone online.

Not to get too off topic, but what the *** is up with that? Seems to happen to me a lot too.

Sometimes I'll find a pretty good seat in a sparsely crowded theater and two seconds later someone will sit right behind or in front of me. At least stagger the alignment.

I liked the first movie but this just looks dumb.

It has a lot left out at this point.

If you liked the first one you'll probably like this one as well. Book 2 was the better of the 3.

Loved this movie. It's the main reason I didn't care for hunger games.

Yeah, the trailer leaves out anything from what will basically be the second half of the movie...probably not wanting to tip anything yet about which direction the plot goes.
