I mean i realize Lamar has the edge and is better but this Huntley kid looks like his clone.

i mean is Lamar 45mil+ good vs 30mil for Huntley ie a Tannehill type deal vs super market money.

if im a Gm i might trade Lamar for boat load of draft picks and give Huntley the job.. it wouldn't go over well with soem fans but hey, gms must make hard decisions.

seriously i don't see big enough separation in talent vs money..in this league that extra cap savings is huge. for the ravens offense Huntley runs it perfectly.

Huntley has looked very good filling in, but thing with with QB's is you need to see some sustained success before you commit

Huntly has outplayed Lamar this year.
Jackson is having his worst season, but he has also been an MVP just 2 years ago.

And the question is

A) Huntley + two 1st round picks + 10-15 mil/yr cap space
or
B) Jackson

Not just Huntley vs Jackson

So it is a legit question

Any team giving up two first round picks for Jackson, is also prepared to sign him to a huge contract. Some team might do it. If for nothing else, a marketing gimmick to draw in more fans. But it will be interesting to see what the Ravens and Browns ultimately decide to do with their QBs.

I keep Huntley and add to my team here. He’s just getting started and can get better too
