Depending on the curve he takes, Baltimore, Jaxonvil, Washington, and New England games could be in some minor jeopardy to be moved or cancelled. Jaxonvil is most likely okay, and Miami is as well. The biggest chance for interference with games will be the other three listed.

Upper level wind sheer may push Bill off to the east where he wouldn't interfere at all. There has been light media coverage of this storm, which has already made Category 4 status over the Atlantic. I believe at the time of this posting he's back down to a strong Cat 2, possibly a Cat 3.

The link above just shows the hurricane coming into the localized Carribbean and GOM satellite coverage area. He's very well defined and in no mood to play around. If this hurricane comes your way, move the **** out of his way pronto.

The long term projections have the storm coming nowhere near the east coast. I think everyone will be fine.

Looking at the projections it might not even make land.

I should have waited until the 4 am runs came out. He looks to have slowed down considerably and won't be messing with any football games unless Flipper finds a floating ball out in the middle of the western Atlantic.

Models have shifted signficantly west. Stormpulse isn't showing it yet, but this still bears watching.
