Apparently Hurts injury is worse than they are saying.

The common theme in the Philly news is he wants to play today. I'm assuming since the coach said he's not going to play unless he feels 100% that they are going to rest him until they need him, or to the playoffs. He played the entire game against Chicago, and didn't try to protect the shoulder, and it didn't affect his accuracy. I think if he was hurt more serious than a sore shoulder he would have came out and not finished the game.

Remember a in 2019 when Dak had that AC joint injury against the Rams then he played like garbage at Philadelphia. Sounds like a similar injury.
Hurts won't play until Playoffs unless he takes the shot and endures pain to play.

Eagles winning today is more important for Hurts timetable. Plus the Division is still unsettled.....

He was hurt in the 3rd quarter so it wasn’t the entire game.

He likely was running on adrenaline and didn’t realize he was that hurt because it was not broken.

Shannon Sharpe said Brian Greise had the same injury in a game, took a shot and finished the game.

He likely would tough it out if this game mattered to them. One big shot and he could miss the playoffs and that isn’t worth it.

Adrenaline is a powerful thing, but it's only temporary.
I bet he couldn't lift his arm the next day.

Therefore a Win by Cowboys today creates an entirely new Narrative Sunday morning
It just means they need to beat a bad New Orleans team or a New York team that will have the 6 seed locked up and likely resting players. Both are in Philly

Could be one of those injuries, it did not seem or feel bad as it was. Until after the game, or later on that night. As it stiffened up. He played on adrenaline and while the shoulder was loose to finish the game.
Also how many pass attempts did he have after that, as well, how many times did he run.

We blew a ROYAL opportunity.
But that's our Dallas Cowboys.
The Eagles took advantage of a favorable schedule and good health. Did you know Dallas is one of like 6 teams with 10 victories. We did not blow anything. To win the NFC we would have had to be 15-2 with our schedule. The 90s Cowboys could not have done that.

I was watching that game and saw that tackle with a 290 lb DE land right in him and was shocked he got up and didn't show any signs of injury but he really didn't play that well the rest of the game. Adrenalin can do a lot to cover an injury.

he's in 3rd year of his 4 year cheapo contract.

he's a running quarterback as of now, but 2nd contract and huge financial commitment changes that style a bit if the player wants a longer career
