Another meaningless win that Jerry will use to make no changes.
It doesn't matter.
What you are seeing now is not what you will see next season.
Fans need to realize that these last nine games of 2024 are a gift.
Next year is the beginning of the final chapter for America's Team.

Imagine finishing strong and caring it over to next season. Picking 15 isn't bad for a team that usually picks in the mid to late 20's
If they win these last 2, they'll be picking 17 or 18, not too bad but not too good either.

If they fail to make it to the Super Bowl, they will replace their coach because making the playoffs is not the goal.
Agreed. The question is who will they hire to replace him. And will that coach be interested in retaining any of the existing staff. Like the Cowboys, Philly can see Washington coming fast. NFCE teams have to do something or cede the division.

Not sure if they will need to reach the Super Bowl but def need to win at least two playoff games. The question for them would be who do you replace him with w/o compromising the talent? For example, would a new coach keep Kellen, what about Fangio or would he wanna work for another coach? My point is unless there's a major meltdown, it may be easier to keep him for at least one more year.

The Horror of the "Thing" ends next season with his next and final injury.
Jerry sells the team and 2026 is the start of a new era of Cowboy football.
P.S. I got favorites on the new ownership being one of Jerry's Saudi royal family members clan.

I am not impressed with Washington. The Eagles are worried about Detroit, Green Bay, and Minnesota. The NFC North this season is literally the NFC East of the late 80s early 90s. Three Super Bowl contenders in one division.

Legitimately could have made the playoffs if not for that stupid punt block lol. It would have been pointless anyway.

You sound like Jerry. That is the problem with your post. The Eagles fired their Super Bowl winning coach because he was not ok with that tank job against Washington at the end of the season. That loss set the franchise in motion because they were able to trade down and accumulate draft picks. I hate the Eagles but they don’t tolerate mediocre play they are all about the Super Bowl. Jerry would have kept Wentz and left Hurts on the bench.

Our next two opponents are division rivals, each of which are going to the playoffs yet not likely to win the Super Bowl.

Once all is decided, I wonder if either is going to say to the fanbase…”nope, sorry, we don’t have the cap room to improve. We have guys that we need to sign in a couple of years.”
