He would have been available LAST week, "if needed." The Eagles aren't going to have the luxury of going on cruise-control in the post-season. They're going to need to expose themselves and play for it. Just hoping the Giants don't decide to rest starters next week.

Maybe the Giants see this as a chance for revenge for the Eagles purposely losing the game against Wash? They believe that happened and to knock the Eggos out of the division title would be sweet.

EaGirls offense has always been much worse without Lane Johnson. It's no different this year for them.
It was like that with us without Tyron Smith but that changed this year.

Hurts could be in for a long day without Lane Johnson next week. Giants are like number one in blitzing attempts.

If needed? Did you see Minshew today? Yes, they definateley need him. One thing I will say, if MVP is based on your contribution to the team, Hurts is the MVP. They are absolutley not the same team without him. Think I'm going to lay $20 on Hurts for MVP. I know it's a long shot, but hey, stranger things have happened and the odds are pretty good right now.

The Eagles know that they are in trouble. If Hurts can't be 100 percent in the playoffs they will be one and done- and might be anyway.
They've been knocked off their high horse; they should have known their offensive scheme left them vulnerable. Now they have to figure out if they can return to form.

I was thinking something similar. If hurts came out and played and won, that would have probably been worse for his MVP candidacy than seeing what the team is like without him

And now it gets interesting. I bet dollars to donuts the Eagles really didn't want to play Hurts in that finale. They wanted to give him as much rest prior to the playoffs as possible. The fact that the ideal plan was to win today and give Hurts more time suggests he's not 100%. And now they have to run out a less than 100% Hurts next week and hope he doesn't aggravate it.

Honestly, it might all be moot anyway if the Giants just decide to not play some key starters.

In order to win the division get a bye week you would almost have to play Hurts although Siriani prob wanted that shoulder to get more time off . They can’t count on a Wash win . Wentz or Heineke I don’t think Dallas wants to go into the playoffs on a loss .

The Giants were embarrassed by the Eagles a few of weeks ago. I bet they head down to Philly to win. Yea, Hurts better be ready.

But remember, idiots on here think that Hurts is a plug and play QB...and that Gardner is better....the same morons that thought Dalton was better than Prescott.

Did you see Hurt's eyes today on the sideline? His body language didn't look good.

Have to wonder if the Giants will rest some players, the game means nothing for them, they are already in.

RPO is a staple of the Eagles attack. Problem is, Hurts throwing shoulder...hurts.

Would Siriani really run that RPO offense - which will expose Hurts to getting hit while he is still injured?

If I'm a DE, I'm tackling him to the ground every time he run an RPO. Make him throw
