Hyde to Jags

Didn't Hyde start off well there?

Wonder how bad Fournette is banged up for the Jags to give them a 5th

That's the question.

Hyde is old (for a RB) and has been pretty terrible (3.4 ypa, only one game better than 4.0, has provided nothing in the passing game) and Chubb is the future there, so the trade makes perfect sense from Cleveland's perspective.

I hate how members race to post news just to be first, that they don't actually post some additional details to make the story interesting, or some approved link. It happens a lot around here.

It's just information. Information that you don't seem to appreaciate. So why post here?

All I am saying is if you're going to post information, post the information. Don't post a lazy half *** sentence for the purpose of being first.

Lol. And here I thought I was the only one to notice that. On the the flip side, how about the posters "to be first" on a new thread to give a "Like". Oh lookie me, I read it first & want the world to know I did lol. WOW:rolleyes:

Is there a prize for being first?

I always thought it was weird on Dallas.com that they limited how many "Likes" you could give each day.

Bad trade, Chubb has had 2 big runs and his other runs are pretty ordinary Hyde earns every yard.

I posted information. If it wasn't enough for you go look it up yourself.

Chubb is the future. Hyde was flipped for a pick. It was a smart move by Cleveland. They find out what they have in Chubb, get a pick and the young team grows together.

They probably won't make the playoffs this year, but it will help the young guys mature. Chubb was also flashing in the limited plays he was getting. Odds are he was doing it in practice and the team wanted him on the field.

Hyde is the better runner, a fifth is worth a pile of dog crap.

I'm just relaying the info. I think the trade was good for Cleveland. They were most likely moving on to Chubb as the starter anyway.

If Cleveland was a SB contender then the trade probably wouldn't have been made.

A fifth in and of itself isn't worth a lot, but if it enabled you to move up a few spots in rounds 3 or 4 to get a player you really want, then it has more value.

They are looking at the long term, might as well get Chubb the experience to see what you got in him and pick up another draft pick in the process.

Put a fork in the Jags - its just not happening this year. They look like ****.

Chubb started slow, but ended the day with a respectable 18 carries for 80 yards and a TD.
