According to Wfaasports, Dez received a Criminal Trespass warning at North Park.

looks like the kid still has a lot of growing up to do.

it kinda sounds like Dez has a point and a reason to be pissed. He may not have handled it perfectly but someone who is shopping in a mall shouldn't be subjected to that sort of crap. I may think it is a stupid way to dress but he and his friends being hassled for it ... that may not have really been about their clothes

so if you were shopping and a security guard hassled you for some BS, you would respond with a "yes sir" and allow yourself to be treated that way?

I expect he could have handled it better but it does sound like he has a reason to be upset

If I wasn't wearing my clothes properly, I would fix it. If you were asked to pull your pants up, or to leave...would you throw a hissy fit or pull your pants up?

When I was in junior high those "Jane Likes Dick" t-shirts were popular. They sold them at the mall. A friend of mine bought one and put it on while at the mall. A security guard saw the shirt and attempted to kick him out of the mall. It did not go down pretty.

Can I still get one of those! :laugh2:

I've never heard of that shirt!

Maybe he should've pulled his pants up, but I understand him getting pissed too. So many guys wear their pants like that. I wonder if they mess with all of them or just Dez and his friends. Also, I wonder if they knew he was and was that a factor in messing with him in the first place.

"The source said NorthPark has a history of problems with Bryant."

Well this is more interesting. I can see it leading up to an instance like this.

Much ado about nothing. Let me know when he actually gets arrested for criminal trespassing.

Having said that, the season can't start soon enough.

What was the problem? Dez not talking through clenched teeth?

If he was making a scene there several times before then the mall has the right to kick him out. Just saying, not trying to be on any side.

Whoever owns the mall wants a dress code, so be it. Bryant doesn't have to go there.
