Hey folks.
So I hyperextended my knee about 6 years ago. It hurt more than any bone I'd ever broken so I had it checked out, and it was diagnosed as a sprain.
There wasn't a lot of swelling, just an extreme instability that I had never felt before. I could stand stationary on it just fine, but it felt like my knee was on the brink of buckling backwards for 4-5 months after, and it didn't feel sturdy for about another 10 months.
Anyway, I can still feel that it's notably weaker than my other knee to this day and was wondering if that was common with knee sprains or was it possibly misdiagnosed.
Thanks
