Hey guys, I am sitting here watching the Stanley Cup presentation in Detroit, the Penguins have just defeated the Red Wings in Detroit and the stadium is still packed. My question to you is this, the Dallas Cowboys are playing in the Superbowl and they have just lost, are you staying for the trophy presentation? My answer is HECK NO! How on earth is Joe Lewis arena still packed and full of fans? I dont understand.

They have nothing else in Detroit. Mediocre baseball team, terrible football team, failed and bailed auto industry and no jobs. They appreciate their hockey team, despite the loss. If the Cowboys lost, yeah I may walk out the building.

It's the only team in their city that gets close to winning championships on a regular basis (The Pistons go in sporadic spurts) so I can imagine why they're sticking around.

As for me, yeah I'd stay. I'd stay because it's the Superbowl and those tickets aren't cheap. So, yeah, I'd stick around for sure, no matter how angry I was about it.

Hockey is like a god in the city of Detroit..

BTW isn't the superbowl in Dallas this year?

honestly it depends on how we lost.

I agree with that, the way the Wings lost, I would definitely have been out of there...once that clock hit 0 I would have been gone.

3rd and 12 on the Cowboys 20 yard line. 12 seconds to go. 24-20 Dallas is up. Big Ben rolls out and hits Santonio Holmes for a TD.

Wow.This decade has just killed me.2 superbowl wins now this.I cant handle it much more.:banghead:

blown coverage or did they just execute it perfectly?

Even in a loss I love to see perfect execution.

If it was some coverage error, or if the refs handed them the game I would go nuts and either run out of the stadium screaming like a girl, or I would turn off the TV and run out of the house screaming like a girl.

Basically, I am gonna scream like girl regardless.

Basically the Steelers/Cards SB ending this year..Gentle Ben just rolling out and dodging defenders.

I am still not convinced that was a catch. And if ben roffleburger dodged D.Ware(ya right) I would be livid.

Really, If I am being honest, I couldn't stand losing to the steelers. I really dislike all the football teams in that state.

I am pretty certain Big Ben dodged Dware last year....thanks for reminding me. ;)

I would already be on the way to the police station at this point because I had charged the field after Dallas was flagged for penalty number 22, a ticky-tack holding call on the opposite side of the field that negated a 74 yard touchdown run by Felix J.

Oh, and the world's largest scoreboard clearly showed that Roethlisberger only made it to the 7 yard line on that last credited touchdown.
