1) Say we sign Davis and move him back to guard.
2) Then from the Garrett ties we sign Harrington to be our backup. If not Harrington I would like Rattay.

That covers two big needs.

Now we have OLB, CB or FS as remaining needs. I really don't see any of the OLB worthy of a first day pick at our spot but could be some good value in second/third round.

Only way we go FS is if the rumors of Henry to FS are untrue and someone like Nelson slips. Beyond Nelson I don't see another FS worthy of our first round pick.

On the other hand the draft has a lot of good CB's and we should be able to pick the guy we want. Which guy would you want?

CB Darrelle Revis (Pittsburgh)
CB Aaron Ross (Texas)
CB Chris Houston (Arkansas)
CB Leon Hall (Michigan)
CB Marcus McCauley (Fresno St)

Hopefully I didn't miss anyone.

Draft a CB first round, BPA in second or third maybe snag a good OLB.

Jarvis Moss, Quentin Moses, Anthony Spencer, and Woodley are all potentially worthy of the #22 spot.

Aren't they projected to go higher than the #22 spot?

Yes, along with the 40 or so players that are projected to go above the #22 spot. ;)

Woodley has kinda slipped to a mid 2nd rounder. Moss and Moses typically float around 15-25. Spencer floats around 20 to high 2nd.

It all depends on who you talk to and what day you're talking to them. I'd imagine that at least 3 of the 5 will be available at 22, maybe even 4 of the 5.

I'm a huge Spencer fan, but it seems like he may be too stiff to play linebacker. He's a tremendous passrusher, but he didn't look great doing the linebacker drills at the combine. In the Phillips scheme, it may not matter, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
