That pretty much gives them $28M in space this offseason alone.

And they're in that situation cuz they don't pay when they don't need to. So Michael Johnson will likely be available.

It's difficult to know where to draw the line. Melton doesn't have a injury history and ACL injuries seems to be the least problematic in terms of recovery.

I would prefer a 1 time injured 27 year old Melton to a 32 year old with nagging shoulder issues in Jason Hatcher.
