We have 5 games to go and the division is clinched; are you taking your foot off the gas a little or trying to advance playoff seeding?
For me, if home field advantage and a bye remains on the table, I'm going for it, although we can have our bye in Philly during week 18.

Ultimately it depends on how individual players are feeling. If you have certain key players suffering some minor injuries you may consider resting them so as to avoid going into the playoffs with guys injured.

Keep playing hard. It's very difficult to turn it off and on as needed and not playing hard leads to general sloppiness that carries over and leads to injury.

I think it goes without saying we play for seeding. Hosting two games in the playoffs is way better than just hosting one. ;)

Delete this and bring it back in 5 weeks

What is the difference of this suggestion and tanking?

The Cowboys have an opportunity to get the only first round bye. They have to try to win every game. The East could be locked up if they beat Denver and Atlanta. I don’t think the Eagles, Washington or Giants will win 8 games.

I'd be all in. You get very few years with a team this good, and you cant expect to pack it in for weeks at a time just to think you can flip the switch come playoff time.

Plus seeding seems to really matter this year. I'd much rather get a 6/7 seed team that sneaks in like Minnesota, Atlanta, etc than host Arizona or LA. I'd also rather a team like Green Bay come to me instead of playing in a blizzard in the later rounds.

no no no no...you have momentum. its a hard thing to have and keep...you take your foot off the gas...lose momentum and its hard to get it back....you push push push.....you go for #1 seeding......you keep the positive energy......

Play to win them all
Don’t mess with what’s going on with this team
