If Romo had drove down the field and scored would you choose to to go for two to win or go for one to force overtime? Considering the way the defense played i would have gone for two to win instead of relying on a coin toss to decide the outcome of the game.

Uh...how much time is left on the clock? I guess this assumes Denver also scores a TD after this drive?

I am referring to the last drive he threw the interception before the 2 minute time mark. Assuming we scored with only a few seconds in the game or no time remaining.

The game was tied at that point, if we score with 2 seconds, gave over, TD or FG. But if we were down by 7 in that same situation, still kick the xpoint, and tie.

1. I'm going with the idea that not much time is left on the clock if we managed to score a TD.

I'd go for 2 and the win because if the Broncos got the ball first, it would have been a TD and game over.

But if you fail on the 2 pt. conversion, then you can get beat by a late TD. There is no advantage in going for two in that situation IMO.

That would have to be a really late TD then. If they managed to score a TD in under a minute (likely around 30 seconds) then they deserve to win.

What game were you watching? Like the other poster said the game was tied 48 all and had the Cowboys scored you kick the extra point which would have made the score 55-48. If you go for 2 and don't convert that gives Denver a shot to win if there's time remaining with a TD and an extra point. Even if you go for 2 and convert Denver still has a shot to tie the game with a TD and 2 point conversion if there's time remaining.

We probably would have worked the ball into FG position and ran out the clock giving US the 51-48 victory.

you milk that clock once you get in the red zone and kick the FG, if you miss there OT

That's exactly what would have happened once we got into Bailey's range no way would they have had Romo risk a turnover down there. Knowing Garrett and his trust in Bailey he would have left him with at least a 50 yarder.
