Hypothetically if we traded for Deebo, what would it do for your expectations with this team?

I will take the cleansing waters of Lake Minnetonka.
Prince has told us good things about it.
I swear man, the voice feature on this phone must think I speak Mongolian sometimes. I spend more time correcting mistakes than actually speaking the message, and it still messes things up.

I think it would completely reverse the spending philosophy demonstrated by Stephen Jones over the past couple seasons and signal a return to Jerry Jones's cap killing irresponsibility. The rift created between the two Jones's could be explosive.

Deebo might be a real upgrade on offense this season, but his contract will initiate a domino effect that results in the exodus of several good, contributing players the following season. In addition, the draft picks lost will affect the quality of players in the future.

If the Cowboys trade for Deebo is would indicate an "all in" attitude on the part of the franchise.

In that case, they might as well get in everybody else they want because the ring better come this year or it will be another five years before we can even think of the Cowboys as a possible contender.

I would like to visit Mongolia, although I fear how terribly I would mangle their verbal language whilst there.

I hear that the fried yak makes the trip worth it.

I'm adventurous.
I've eaten a tarantula thorax (it was flipping terrible and I almost puked).
I've been to the Phillipines and hit up balut ( I actually did puke and the locals laughed).

I can take on fried Yak.

It just will reaffirm and reconfirm that our ownership has no idea what it's doing.

He clearly would help but to me the season comes down to a few of things:

1 - The OL has to be much better
2 - Elliott has to be better
3 - The defense has to be better OR at least continue to generate turnovers at a ridiculous rate
4 - McCarthy has to be better, especially late in games

If one or two of these go wrong, it wouldn't matter that we had Deebo.

What’s the asking price . Cooper cost what a 1 ? Samuels would cost at least that . No thanks. Wasn’t Cooper shown the door over salary and now you want to bring in another salary at the same position . Don’t think so . Number ones are not to be sent in the mail . Need them .

I’m not necessarily in favor of trading for DeeBo because of what it would take in FUTURE picks and what it would do to our cap in FUTURE years but I absolutely can’t believe the entire first page of people saying it changes nothing for THIS year. Yes it’s questionable for the future success of the franchise but to think it doesn’t make us better this year is kind of ridiculous.

The creator of this thread wants CZers to comment on the impact of adding Samuel to Dallas - without providing what San Francisco would get in return for this trade - and the resulting impact on the Cowboys in the FUTURE - as you stated.

A flawed "hypothetical".

Thread creator presented this Samuels "trade" in a vacuum.
What did the 49ers get from the Cowboys in return?

And wouldn't stop our 1st round playoff exits.

Honestly, why aren't you guys asking what would happen if we traded for DJ Reader, or Kenny Clark, Vea? How do you guys miss the mark over and over and over about what we should be trading for? Another WR? While we're at it, let's trade 6 firsts for Jalen Ramsey, then we can lose in the first round again because we can't stop the run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
