Let me preface this by saying that I do not advocate cutting TO and I think he is a great asset to this team. That being said, this draft seems to be a decent one for receivers past the first round. I was thinking that if we cut TO we could pick up Derrick Williams from Penn State or Juaquin Iglesias from Oklahoma(who I have coveted since his soph year) Both seem to be solid prospects with good upside and would fit well in our system..thoughts?

I dont think offensive skill positions are the problem we need to focus on finding Olinemen, LBs and secondary players in the draft.

We need to get tougher upfront on defense and on the oline. Our LBs dont beat people up, we need to get away from the Dat Ngyuen/ Zach Thomas type players and find tough athletic LBs that want to hit people in my opinion.

Iglesias could be a target. He is far superior to Malcolm Kelly. This club might have to look at ILB early in the draft instead of WR. Iglesias should be gone by then.

Percy Harvin of Florida or Hakeem Nicks of North Carolina opposite Roy would be nice. I'd trade a lot to get up to get Crabtree though. A lot.

Whaddaya think that would cost? I expect folks would be asking for Barber/Jones, our second, next year's first, and Austin to get that high

I'd take it.

Choice and Jones at RB. Crabtree at #1, Roy at #2, Witten, Bennett, & Romo.

I'd hang onto TO for one more year and let Crabtree not feel rushed. I'd offer Crayton over Austin, but would give them either one.

We have 11 picks. More than enough to plug the holes. Crabtree is just a level above almost anyone else. Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson and Randy Moss kind of talent in a super kid.

For Crabtree, I would give the top teams a list of our roster with like 7 names crossed off and say take your pick, we'll throw in Carpenter for your time.

If I had to pick a reciever that might be around for our first pick, I'd give Hakeem Nicks a try. He's shown he could be a #1, everything he did was with a poor offensive cast.

But, Crabtree would be tight.

How about we cut players liek Sam HUrd and Stanback and draft this type of WRs, instead of our HoF WR that has only two years left on his contract anyway...
