I’m more confident after last night’s game

We’re 2 games out of 1st place with 11 games to go, including a home game against the Eagles… and also we have our starting QB to return imminently.
Rush has done us proud by going 4-1 and keeping our season alive, but we need Dak back in to get us going offensively.
Turnovers were the deciding factor last night, if we don’t throw 3 picks, then we almost certainly win that game.
The Eagles, and Hurts, don’t look particularly special… Yes they’re 6-0, but most of those were against the bottom feeders.

Hurts is a one trick pony. Fortunately for the eagles it's been working for them. As the season plays out that will be their undoing imo.
Also, the eagles will have to make a decision with Hurts, do they pay him the big bucks, insult him with a low ball offer or draft his replacement.

He stills have another year after this one on his contract. The Eagles always have about 3 first round picks so they can go either way

I know he has another year on his contract but will they extend him after this season?
The eagles have multiple 1st rd picks but will they deliver on them. Their track record isn't fantastic in that department. That's why they always pay for talent in FA.

You know Jeffrey Laurie. He has all of the luck.

Im sure Hurts will play for super cheap and not crippled their cap and they will land the #1 pick from somebody and get the best of both worlds

Oddly enough I feel the exact same way, the dreaded eagles could only beat a bruised up Cowboys by 9 points after being handed the first half. Let’s see what happens when they get down to Dallas with a healthy squad staring them back in the face.

Let them have this one, it’s their Super Bowl after all.

The defense got exposed last night and once again the run defense was pathetic. They better fix that quick or else what was a Top defense will be less than very quickly.

Not just turnovers. Our redzone offense has been stagnant. And Rush does not have the arm strength to scare teams.

In general, when we don’t have a lead— our offense is shaky

Our defense wasn’t exactly exposed… 270 yards is not lot and if it wasn’t for our interceptions that led to 10 points and a turnover on downs which gave them another 3, then we hold them to below 20 points.

Anyone after the first week who expected us to win 4 out of 5 games to include games against the two super bowl teams of last year would have been labeled as idiots on this forum. As that idiot Aaron Rodgers says "Relax". We should win our next two and be 6 and 2 at the bye. That's pretty darn good and better then most folks would have expected in a big big way. I think the Eagles are the real deal and based on their schedule they have a legitimate chance of going undefeated this year. The only teams they play moving forward right this minute with a good record is us and the Giants. We are playing for a wild card it seems. Is what it is. That said, injuries happen and Hurts at some point is going to really take some shots, because all QB's take shots.

PS. All the above could turn to garbage if Dak craps the bed. He needs to play well.

I was both depressed and impressed last night.

This game could have gotten way out of hand early but the team pulled their socks up and made a game out of it.

That was a pressure cooker situation going into Philly after have beaten the living crap out of them in the recent past. We were going to get their absolute best. One less mistake and one more play and we win.

Everything is still there for the taking, assuming we can get good enough play from the QB.

It certainly looked like we were about to witness a meltdown. But they fought back and almost won the game.

Eagles had 2 penalties for 10 yards. We had 3 turnovers. Got down 20-0. Cooper rush was awful. We still could have easily came out of Philly with a win if the defense could have got just one more third down stop late in the game.

I have been a huge critic of Dak. But it's hard to imagine this team not being a serious threat in the playoffs if he plays well.

It's clear this is a very good football team. Everything went the eagles way last night. And the cowboys were still there late in the game with rush having a historically bad game

Great points but Rush had a couple chances after Philly last TD. He missed a wide open TD to Lamb by throwing a pick or at least a huge gain and a missed long FG after he stalled just past midfield

That pic happened because he got hit in mid throw and couldn't get enough on it. Our rookie tackle overall played very well, but on that play he was beat.

It worked for them last night because our offense sucked , 3 Int and had many batted balls etc and missed throws. It was 3-point game mid-way into the 4th qtr before that last INT.,.game killer.
