I’m more confident after last night’s game

We’re 2 games out of 1st place with 11 games to go, including a home game against the Eagles… and also we have our starting QB to return imminently.
Rush has done us proud by going 4-1 and keeping our season alive, but we need Dak back in to get us going offensively.
Turnovers were the deciding factor last night, if we don’t throw 3 picks, then we almost certainly win that game.
The Eagles, and Hurts, don’t look particularly special… Yes they’re 6-0, but most of those were against the bottom feeders.
I agree
We lost but we lost the game ourselves more than they beat us
I do think they are a really good team myself but the 3 turnovers was too much to overcome

If you look at their schedule, they are played 3rd rate teams for the most part for the rest of the season not counting the NFC East. I mean almost bums. They will have to totally turn to crap if they don't win at least 13 games.

I'm actually the most stoked about how well Jake Ferguson looked, and what he made from the opportunities he was given, which I hope means more for both he and Hendershot into the future.

Ferguson is great on 3rd downs.

They need to establish an identity in the passing game. Use both of those TEs regularly.

I've never seen a player with as good of hands as Hendershot has even if he didn't make that catch in the end zone.. And Ferguson looked crafty out there.

He stills have another year after this one on his contract. The Eagles always have about 3 first round picks so they can go either way
They have picks and a great nucleus. We can ridicule them all we want, but they've built a solid roster using all the methods available.

Dallas will eventually do what Dallas does and fold in a big moment.

As far as the regular season and division go it’s all there for the taking.

Philly is good but make Hurts have to throw in obvious passing situations and he’s still awful.

agreed.
they're beatable.

Doesnt mean we can easily beat them , unless our Run D improves , especially critical times . ( Like when we pulled within 3 y’day , ( 17-20) a punt or TO would have been huge, but instead , philly RPOed us to death and scored TD.
That is a critical moment.

no where did i say we would easily beat them.
nothing is easy when the hate is real.
but i stand by what i did say.
they are beatable.

A few points…

- previous years teams would have packed up shop and started looking ahead to the Lions. This team didn’t and has shown multiple times they have the grit to pull back in games.

- defense did all it could and adjusted, as they’ve done every week since Quinn took over. Yes, they faltered when they were needed most, but see point above. Makeup of this team and coach, that won’t sit well.

- if anything, cowboys showed that the Eagles are not the world beaters the media thinks they are and the NFC is wide open.

- if you’d have told me the cowboys would be 4-2 at this point in the season with the injuries they’ve had… resilient bunch.

I turned off the TV disappointed, but encouraged with what I saw. They played their best football, we did not.

I could not agree more then the topic of this thread . 11 Left with home games against Eagles & Giants . Having said that the next four have to be a sweep against one of the weakest divisions in football home vs Lions Bears then after the bye road games Minny & GB . Have to have all 4 sitting at 8-2 going into Thanksgiving and beat the Giants Turkey bowl .

Their schedule is mostly bottom feeders from here on out. We could be 3-4 games out by Thanksgiving.

Get healed up. And I think we can beat egirls. I wasn’t impressed. We beat ourselves. How many turnovers did we have. At least 3. Quinn will play them different next time and maybe Parsons is healed up. And if MM challenges the obvious then things can be different.

Since people are bringing it up here are the schedules through T-giving weekend:

COWBOYS

Lions
Bears
@ GB
@ Minny

EAGLES

Steelers
@ Texans
Commanders
@ Colts

Eagles have such an easy run over the next four with only the Colts being a potential slip up. And the Colts aren't even that good. Those back to back road games for us will decide whether we stay in the divisional race or not. You can't lose both. You might have to win both. That's how lame the Eagles schedule is. They have a real chance to be 10-0 heading to GB at the end of November.

The defense got exposed last night and once again the run defense was pathetic. They better fix that quick or else what was a Top defense will be less than very quickly.
The defense ate the cheese after all the talking about being the best.. but in fairness the team as a team lost the game
