His contract means that they are stuck with him for a minimum of 2 more years. And Jerry has shown that he does not want to create a QB controversy even when there is talent available to him in the draft.

If they want to go that route, they can cut him as a June 1st cut next off season and it would cost the team no more than his salary (huge I know). If they cut him as a June 1st cut the following year, it actually saves the team $34 million. So basically we really only are stuck with him next year, assuming we do not restructure.

Lots of blame to go around but the coaching from the OC and HC was absolutely horrendous Sunday night. It’s their responsibility to put the players in the best situations to win. It seems they didn’t do that.

Its also the QB's job to put the receivers in the best position to catch the ball without contorting in pretzels, and in stride to increase YAC, but I see you still aren't acknowledging that years long issue. (not saying the WR's are blameless by the way, but they aren't the only to blame for the passing game execution issues on the field).

What is your definition of giving up, I will still be watching every game despite the beatdowns that are looming, difference now with me at least is that I dont
really expect anything, just looking for a spark from some of the young talent that haven't even been introduced.
Like Ive said for the past few seasons, my BBQ has been gaining ground to pro level because I am a much more patient and less stressed soul on game day.

Am i throwing in the towel when i say i am still convinced they can achieve this ?
