I’m not impressed with the 49ers

They’ve been more impressive than the Cowboys the past two seasons, knocking them from the playoffs both years. They’re the team to beat along with Philly in the NFC. You may not like hearing that, but it’s a fact.
It really is. 9ers are no push over. I fear their playmakers, they can roll.

Bound to be a tough game when we play them. We just have to be careful and not look ahead. We want to have plenty of momentum heading into San Francisco.

They think they’re all that. I’m not impressed. I hope we put the whoop on them. Not just beat them. Crush them.
I think if we dominate Sunday, we'll move ahead of them in all power rankings.

People including alot of our fans are so scared of them, but they beat us by ONE score.
Twice.

Not "scared", but these Cowboys have to show they can beat them. A third loss in 20 months would leave no room for excuses and do nothing for team confidence.

Meaningless. Gotta beat them on the field.

Most NFL games are pretty close in general. You don't get brownie points for losing by only one score. Fact is, when it mattered most, we wilted. In all phases. They own us at the moment.

I don't see why you wouldn't be impressed with San Francisco. I mean, I hate them too, but I'm not blind. I'm very impressed with their weapons, play calling and execution on offense. Their defense is fast and stout. I'm not a fan of "we beat x team by blah blah and they only beat x team by....". The NFL is week to week. No doubt, I think that the Cowboys look better than EVERYBODY so far. Hell, I'm more impressed with Miami. We're going to have to put on our big boy pants when we clash with them in a couple of weeks. I wish our team came out to the field with a folding chair. Can't wait!

They’re a very good team. The Cowboys are also a very good team. I don’t think Cowboys fans should be “gun shy”. Every season is different. The 49ers are 3-0. They have not played any team even close to being as good as the Cowboys right now. Dallas, Philly and Washington have a significant pass rush. The Niners are going to lose some games. The first one they lose will be to the Cowboys.

The last playoff game we played them quite tough….Dak and the offense just couldn’t help out the D, like at all (especially after Pollard went out). If our offense can play decent and the D does its thing, we have a good change. Dak really held us back both playoff games.
Dak let the Cowboys get rid of Amari he has plenty of blame, no one is going to tell me to this point Cooks is better even if he disappears.

I could not have stated this better myself. Hopefully things start to change, and rapidly. But until proven otherwise, the above quote stands. Like most Cowboys fans, I'm hoping we can go from 3rd to 1st this season.

I will say one thing. Purdy looks a little shaky out there. He made some really nice tosses, even when backpedaling, but he made some amateur ones as well. The Giants just let him off the hook.

I haven't had the chance to watch a lot of Purdy. But watching that game he looked raw, new, or however you want to describe it. He's not a finished product, and I hope we can take advantage of that. I'm sure at some point he'll know what cologne Parsons is wearing.

What is this, year 2 for Purdy? He's only played in 12 NFL games and already looks as good or better than our year 8 Dakster who will play in his 100th NFL game tomorrow. Even Hurts is improving at a much faster rate.

Lets see what he does now with the team around him. I think Romo was a better QB than Dak, just played on some bad teams. Dak has the same front office. You put this D on that 2014 team........

Lets see what Dak can do now that he has the horses.

We're already seeing what Dak can do - he's driving the bus and it's lead to a decent start to the season. If MM is as smart as some are saying he is he will continue to run the offense this way. I trusted Romo the gunslinger more than I trust Dak being a gunslinger, so I think it will be important to keep the offense simple for him.

The Romo vs. Dak debate has only 1 solution, Dak has to get to at least the NFCCG, otherwise these comparisons of who was better than the other will never end.

 Of course, this is your take as a Dak critic but the comparison is really ( or should be ) Shanahan vs Garrett/KM whom Dak spent his first 7 years. Shanahan is the best offensive mine in the league behind Andy Reid. In fact, some would argue he's better than Reid cuz he's done more with less. Your comparison ( this one at least ) doesn't make sense at all........coaching matters.

 Rosters aren't dependent only upon day to day talents...no matter how biased one remains.

You're putting too much emphasis on the QB. Dak will never be as good as Dan Marino even if he leads the Cowboys to a SB. Dak will never be a HOF QB.

Dak and the Cowboys haven't been able to beat better teams than them in the playoffs. News flash, that's most quarterbacks. You seem to expect Dak to do what most QBs can't do.

Not giving or asking for brownies pts, but still not afraid of them. Luke I said as bad as we played we STILL could've and should've won

Things to ponder….

You beat my boys 40-0 in New York.

They beat my boys 30-12 in San Francisco.

We had a full team against your boys And got killed.

We had 4 key starters out against them- Saquon, Thomas, Bredeson, and Ojulari and were only down 17-12 in the middle of the 3rd.

Bottom line: Your boys scare me more than those guys.
