As for "us against the media" approach. That wasn't really what Parcells was doing today. He was doing the more "I don't have time for this silly crap right now" approach, he wasn't suggesting the media was against him or team, or even trying to stir stuff up with TO. He was kinda joking with them about that.

Here's my point: today's "outburst" was every bit as orchestrated as a TO touchdown celebration. Bill had to know the question was coming sooner or later. His reaction was so over-the-top that it robbed the moment of any sincerity. Strahan was crass when he decided to attack a meek female reporter. Bill, to his credit, refused to stoop that low.

It is fair to assume that Parcells expected the press to ask him about T.O.'s stuff. Parcells had a funny answer. Everyone laughed, including Parcells. Then Parcells got out of there to get some work done.

Which incident? There have been a plethora of incidents this year, and this team is rolling along.

Such vindication. There were so many people making a big deal out of TO's comments and now BP has set them all in their respective places. TO just having some fun, that's all. At least he's got some personality. And I want to know who makes the rules that say football players aren't allowed to want the spotlight?

Who wants to bet it's, "Parcells is so obviously tired of Owens' actions, and he's now blowing up against the media."

They're gonna say that he was upset b/c of Owens.

Parcells backed Owens and basically mocked the media and called them Very gullable (in much fewer words and more style hehe).

When Owens says he feels betrayed, they're spinning it like he hates the entire organization. I'm sure he's refering to one or two people specifically and yes, that is the sort of thing that should be kept in house.

It annoys me that the Bengals can have FIVE guys arrested for various crimes. yet what somebody may or may not have said about/to Owens behind closed doors, is somehow paramount to the stability of the team and/or league.
