Lost, Sopranos, tried watching The Wire, couldn't get into it. Same for True Detective. As said earlier, Breaking Bad starts slow, but does get really good.

I did watch "The Soprano's" about 6 years after its debut... A&E started running episodes on Sunday mornings and I watched it then. I did enjoy that series.

I watched the first disc of season 1, it was ok. Got disc two from Netflix and it sat for two months before I sent it back and removed the rest from my queue. Thought it was ok but didn't get that "I can't wait for the next episode" feeling.

Never watched House of Cards, Mad Men, Breaking bad, Sons of Anarchy, Community, Parks and Recreation, True Detective.. wow, a lot I haven't watched in order to binge rewatch shows like BSG, Psych, Burn Notice, Firefly, Stargate SG-1, etc.

Star Wars... Haven't watched any of the original 3 either.

Nor have I read or watched any of the "Harry Potter".
Now that is a bit mind-boggling.

I've met some younger people under 20 that have never seen them, but I think you are the very first person I've ever heard from directly that is over 40 that has not seen any of the three.

You win this thread for biggest surprise...imo

LOL!

Just no interest in it.

I got sucked into watching the one that came out in what was it? 1999... 2000... Somewhere in there. And I thought, "Geez I just don't get the excitement." Now to give the series some credit, I have been told that particular SW movie was a weak entry.

Two strong choices, imo.

But you'd have to clarify "best ever" as "best that I've ever seen"...especially if you haven't seen the Sopranos

I missed out on a lot of shows.

Breaking Bad, GoT, Ray Donovan etc...

Hoping when I take 2-3 weeks off in October I can binge watch some of these shows.

I think if you watched the original when it first came out, it would probably be a different story for you.

The newer ones are ok, but they just don't have the same magic as seen the originals when they were new and we were all younger.

But we like what we like. I am sure many would not like half of the zombie or scary movies that we like either so there is that.

Loved deadwood but for those who have not seen it, it is hard to reccomend because of how HBO took a big huge dump on the series by cutting it without giving it at least one more season to wrap it up in some degree...although they did give Rome one more season to wrap it up and made a massive clusterfudge of that last season.

All because a new person came in as a head guy in HBO and said those two shows were costing too much to make due to the massive costume and set costs.

Game of Thrones
House of Cards
Breaking Bad
Boardwalk Empire
Pretty Little Liars
True Blood
Walking Dead
Vampire Diaries
The Originals
Ray Donovan
Dexter
Reign
Dr. Who

The only show on this list I ever watched is Dr. Who - and I stopped watching it after Doctor #5 in the 1980s (didnt think Sylvester McCoy was as good as Davison).

Mostly watch sports, news/current affairs, documentaries and films. Never got into TV dramas.

A single episode... of "Game of Thrones".

What have you not watched?

Pretty much everything except Star Trek, Game of Thrones, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, the first season of The Expanse, the first season of Mad Men, first 2 1/2 season of House of Cards, and the first three seasons of Family Guy.

I just recently started watching F is for Family. The first four or so episodes are "okay", but after that. That show gets seriously funny!

EDIT: Oh yeah, all of Breaking Bad.
