I think this is the first time for me that I have never heard of any of the players the Cowboys chose this year. Not saying that is bad. I watched college football almost every Saturday this past season. These players don't even ring a bell. Maybe I saw that kicker from USC play.

From the first round to the seventh round, this draft just seemed weak all around. We'll see when camp comes around.

That is kind of funny one of the DE came from Texas Tech a Big 12 school that went what 11-2 and played in a major bowl game

Stephen Mcgee starter three tears for the Aggies (last year was cut short to injury) and was a big time Texas Highschool football recruit then again i remember when all the teams where chasing him and most where surprised he choose A&M

Victor Butler played in the Pack 10 another major conference went 9-4 and made a bowl

Manuel was one of the Oklahoma wr another Big 12 school and played against Florida for the title

So it not like every player we drafted came from a small school it sounds more like you do not watch a lot of college football and you do not follow college football ot you do not follow the Big 12 or Pack 10

It's not Pack 10. Its Pac 10. As in Pacific. Who's the one who doesnt follow college football?

And just because you havent heard of these players doesnt mean you dont follow college football. I have heard of only a few players that we drafted and I definitely follow college football

Sorry about the extra K i knew it was PAC that was just a typo

I knew most of the Big 12 guys but I follow the Big 12 closely then again there are more college players than Pro there are what 100 D1 schools in college football with 80 players each I understand him not knowing the small guys but just because he has not heard of them does not mean they are bad players. To many people think players suck if they have not heard there name all over TV. We here Tim Tebow all the time in college football and he will probably be a mediocre Pro football player at best

Well, if you want to have heard of most guys drafted in rounds 3-7, it's best to study the draft prospects before the draft.

You could have gone to CBS Sportsline, where they have a comprehensive listing of prospects ranked by NFLDraftScout.com (which also supplies the NFL and NFL.com with draft profiles), and you would have known all about most of the guys we picked -- eight of them were ranked in the top 154, as was one of our UDFAs. Pro Football Weekly also had eight of our draft picks (and one UDFA) ranked in its top 154, and two of them weren't among the eight at Sportsline. That means 10 different draftees and one UDFA were ranked among the top 154 players by one of two major scouting sources. The only draftees who weren't in a top 154 were an All-Pac-10 pass-rusher and a guy who had nine TD catches for Oklahoma this season.
