To say we need to get another RB in the offseason.
Barber is a nice short-yardage/goal-line back with good blocking skills.
JJ looks to be a quick back who may be injury prone. If there is a large hole or he has some space, he can make something happen and has good acceleration but he doesn't make enough people miss close to the line of scrimmage and doesn't have a strong enough lower body.

Neither looks to be a top 10 NFL back to me.

My belief is based upon the whole season and the history of the RBs we have. Not yesterday.

Ok, when cowboys have a good OL, then maybe one can talk about RBs. First lets see Cowboys OL block well enough so that RBs are not being hit behind line of Scrimmage 90% of time. I am sure Emmit eluded all those tacklers behind LOS to gain that many yards

Folks, the RB situation is not the problem.

No RB is going to look good if the O-Line is getting dominated. You gotta have a hole to run through. You can't expect a RB to run over a 300 pound lineman that is meeting him in the backfield as soon as he gets the ball. Our O-line will also continue to get dominated as long as defensive coordinators do not respect our WRs and send their line backers and safeties on jail house blitzes. Instead of signing another RB to get stuffed, I would rather sign a game breaking WR to keep those safeties and line backers honest and scared, then you will see the O-line and running game open up. But who could that game breaking, free-agent WR be?????

NO! Upgrade the O-Line then watch what happens. You dont have long to wait either because it happens this off-season. Our RB's are plenty good enough, and when we start winning the battles at the line of scrimmage you will not even think of a post like this again.
