the only game i expected us to win this year and that we actually lost was the chargers game.
We beat bad teams and lose to good teams, this giant team is bad.
We'll win this one.

And some are fans who simply believe that their team can win on any given Sunday.

Something wrong with that? I deal with reality Monday through Saturday, on Sunday- my team is going into a stadium to go to battle for us and I believe they can and will win.

Do they break my heart? Of course they do, but I still believe in this team. They can win- I want them to win, I root for them to win.

I guess I like my bubble...

I used to believe that in the 1970's and 1990's. The difference is that those teams actually won most of their games and proved me right.

Are you serious? They should be banned.

Very few predicted Dallas to hammer the Saints...but a good number picked both Philly and Denver to destroy Dallas. Some even said the Giants would today.
I'd say seeing that this is a Cowboy forum, if anyone were to be banned ( which they shouldn't) it would be them.

Are you familiar with the term sarcasm?
If not. Look up parody or tv may frighten you. Please try a beer one day.

I knew it was tongue in cheek, but used it as an opportunity to mention the ones that really do need to be singled out at at times.
And I do have a beer a day...or some sort of substitute.

I don't think many would have predicted the Cards hammering Colts 40 to 11 or the fact TB beat Det or that Chicago lost big to St Louis 42 to 21. It is the NFL nothing should be taken for granted.

Dallas went into NY who had won 4 in a row with a lot on the line. A win and they would have put themselfs back in position to challenge. I think some take winning games for granted.

I just posted this in another thread, ... "We just beat the Giants, .. our division rival, .. who was on a four game win streak, .. and we did it on the road, .. in nasty cold weather. Something that is historically difficult for "Dome" teams to do."

I'm happy, .. you happy?

Agree. People tend underestimate potential for what may appear to be upsets each week.

FWIW, the 7-4 Cards have really turned the corner. I know I sure picked themt o win tiis week in my pool. Arians said it would take about half the season to gel and it looks to have happened. 4 in a row and counting, with a defesne that really flies around the ball.

As for TB, they had lost an awful lot of games that went down to the wire. They dominated New orleans earlier this year and somehow lost. And I think most people know that 5-6 St Louis has a ton of good players but just can't seem to string it together consistantly.

Happy with the win and happy we are still in a position to improve as a ball club as we get closer to the end run. Dallas did some good things in this game on defense, offense and special teams. We also made mistakes that hurt us on Offense, defense and special teams. In the end Dallas went in and did what they needed to do, there are no such things as gimme, Hell Houston Texas were 12-4 last big favorite to make it to the SB heading into the year well they are 2-9 and just lost to a very bad Jacksonville team people need to wake up there are no givens and it is not always pretty but you go out and fight and try to win games that is the job of a team.

The Substitute sounds good.
