Parsons is good, but honestly, we never went far with him even on his best day. Age 26 was the perfect time for the cowboys to trade him while his value was still at its high.

Id rather trade him at 26 and build for the future with the picks, than to one and done until he nears 30 or over and his value drops. I know alot of you fans like the star player affect with Parsons, but at the end of the day he was our ticket to anything close to a block buster trade.

Even if the picks are low, Dallas still has leverage to trade up or do just about what they want in the draft. Our future QB or RB could be awaiting us, we dont know. I dont look at the picks as picks that we surely will draft low. I believe Jerry and the team are eyeing a trade up plan.

Maybe it's Manning, maybe it's some other QB. I believe the move was made for long term goals.

Micah was good, but he had his fair share of disappearing acts during seasons and was just never great enough to move the needle. It makes absolutely zero sense to NOT to trade out of a situation like that. You can't continue to do that every single season and let the guys value waste away.

I am happy with the trade, and I am happy that we traded Micah at his highest value before it dropped. We dont need stars on defense, we need a whole team on defense.

Dallas will be A ok

Micah is beyond good.

He is Uber Elite

Yes agree, he has shown he can be mentioned with the great defense elites, to the OP's point whether good or elite, that alone wasn't taking us any where we haven't already been for the past 3 seasons, if and that's a big if we all of a sudden get football smart and make the right moves the trade could pay off in as little as one year. especially if we make some decent progress this year with out Micah. :flagwave:

We've done this for years to no avail.

We might actually be better off w/ a stud like Clark in the middle, if he has enough left. And if EZ pans out and can get double digit sacks.

Dallas will be A ok?

We talking about the same Cowboys? When’s the last time they were A ok?

At least we're not without talent at that position. This is probably the best time to let him go, if they ever were.

So, we've been picked to finish last in our division? I thought I heard that. oh man.

I just hope Jerry keeps his paws off these draft picks. We don't need to be trading them for a player. They are hopefully money in the bank.
