Anyone else excited about this movie? If anyone saw the original (The Omega Man) I think you'd probably be excited to see this one.

I saw Beowulf in 3-D at the IMAX in Tropicana (AC).

Had great affects, I strongly recommend seeing it if you have an IMAX around.

Hey when I saw that preview I said to my wife that reminds me of The Omega Man.

I loved the book (Richard Matheson), so I've been looking forward to this for a while. I doubt it will be anything close to the original story, but I like the concept of a more realistic vampire/zombie monster movie.

Omega Man was very good. Hard to beat Charlton Heston. But the much better graphics and CGI nowadays gives this movie the edge. It all depends on the script and Will Smith.

While I don't know if I'd say I was excited, I am definately interested. I've been wondering about this movie since way back in 97 or so when they were trying to get it made with Arnold as the lead.
