Actually, reading that Archer piece on the Eagles loading one side made me think of the Battle of Kursk.

The greatest tank battle in history, which had the curious side effect of re-establishing future Russian air power. So I see it as the running assault that will finally open up the air attack.

We could win, if we can make the leap in tactics the Russian did in that one.

Hmn, Kursk and Waterloo and Parthians.....My kind of football.
