I am not impressed

I didn’t word that quite right. More my disappointment in everyone overhyping a bus driver performance by a QB. Zeke is fantastic and should be appreciated as such.

I don’t even get the bus driver thought in this game. Too many downfield throws to call it that - and very good ones. This was not a dink and dunk, play it conservative day for Dak.

Dak played like a top 10 QB today. Of that there is no doubt. The questions are more as to why, and will it continue?

One thing that struck me is he threw, and often completed, passes to a number of receivers who were pretty closely covered - just a step or half step on the DB - rather than hold the ball waiting for greater separation. As if he trusted himself more to make those throws.

The boys and I watched the entire game and had all sorts of football snacks and Sierra Nevada autumn beer varieties of course. One of the more exciting and entertaining games we've seen in a long long time with lots of good plays and bad plays on both teams who I thought were evenly matched. I think the team who had the ball last was going to win and that's what happened. 1 point scores always mean an entertaining game. First time we didn't get bored and shut it off at half-time in a long time. We had fun! :flagwave:

.....until the network did their obligatory close up of the Jones billionaires celebrating in their Elite sky box when we immediately booed, threw popcorn at the screen, and yelled at them all to go back to Arkansas like an Alaskan Skagway melodrama. :D Our Labrador even barked at them! :lmao: 1 win ain't gonna change that! :muttley:

Overall a good time had by all and that's what it's about win or lose: entertainment and being able to laugh either way.

It is because we went up tempo, Dak plays better in a no huddle offense. Speed it up and let him get it out quick. The passing game is what got the running game going. Had they called the obvious PI on Slay that took at least 11 points off the board, there would not have been a need for a drive to win it.

Couple things the more we win the less Garrett is out of here now on to the win

Tough game for chido glad Byron is turning into a lockdown corner think chido turns it around next week
Dak still sucks
Play calling still predictable
Finally fed Zeke n look what happens
Overall not impressed will drop a egg next week n look like a 8-8 team
Oh n still haven't traded for EARL THOMAS WHO I EXPECT TO B DEALT TO SUMBODY BY NEXT SUNDAY ENJOY THE LACK LUSTER WIN

Go root for the Eagles get off our site . Tired of the fake fans ruining the forum .

Its his only narrative hes a Romo freak living in denial . Ignore him but he wont go away . LOL It like Jack Nicholson in the shining he just sits in front of his Romo Fat Head Typing Bus Driver over and over . Its all hes got left his hero is gone and he is not a Real Cowboys fan just a Romo fan

That must be the case. There are definitely games where Dak is more conservative (bus driver - as there are with most QBs), but this was clearly not one of them.

Oh here come the personal insults telling "fake fans" to leave the forum. Just like a certain group who believes in freedom of speech as long it's THEIRS. Nothing an ignore can't sort out.;) Chill out mate. It's just a bloody game. It means nothing - absolutely nothing. Life is too short. I should know.

I think this is the development that he missed while handing the ball off prolifically his rook year. And that's on the coaches. You must develop players, esp QB's, even if it means some hiccups.
