Kinda hard to simulate the talent and scheme of Fangios defense in practice.

So maybe Schott will allow at least a few preseason snaps so as to not go in totally cold with no rehearsal time facing the world champs.

Philadelphia and most of the teams will do the same thing. That’s why they’re beginning of the season is a perfect time to play them in my opinion.

But if we lose we’re one game behind them and they’ll own a tiebreaker. That’s not a good start to the season for us and it puts a lot of pressure on us needing to win in week 2. A win on opening day will give us confidence and allow us to build some momentum early.

He should play a couple quarters. Though preseason is meaningless and probably only helps shake off early game 1 rust, I just don't like the messaging that you're too big to get practice in the preseason.
