Cap. You were "ALL IN" on Dak getting his money...and now it's "irrelevant"? I even asked you, "What kind of fan roots for a guy to keep taking advantage of his favorite team?" and you PROUDLY said "me".

Again, it's cool that you are stating obvious facts - progress of a sort - but it's also a fact that you definitely cared about Dak getting paid and was the #1 advocate on this board during his negotiations. Eat your crow.

Sure both are bad, but why bring up Romo in the first place? He aged out before he could get it done; the next guy is going to age out before the GM can surround him with a good defense, and then he'll probably plug a finger in one hole of the Dam when a leak will spring up somewhere else.

We have this same stupid conversation every few months. Yes I wanted Dak to get his worth. I never once said it should be here. I verbatim said I wouldn’t pay him or lamb I would’ve rebuilt after the Packers loss.

And for the record when I say I don’t care what Dak gets paid I’m saying I don’t care as far as criticism goes. I don’t criticize guys based on salary. That’s corny. If Dak made 250k yesterday’s performance would still be piss poor. Schoon stinks regardless of how he gets paid.

I’m pro player anti owner especially this owner. I don’t believe owners should make billions but players should take less out or the kidness of their heart. Never have never will. You can keep trolling and putting words in my mouth but you won’t change my opinion on Dak so you might as well quit.

He probably brought up Romo in defense of Dak. Some guys here are very sensitive about Romo. A poster defended Romo by saying well Dak did it too at 21 lol.
 
It’s been what 11 years? I think we all know what he is. A guy who has some big number games vs divisional opponents. Usually plays okay in big games but won’t do enough at the end of the game. Has occasional stinkers vs bad teams. He is what he is.
 
If Dak plays out his contract we have to see him for 2 1/2 more years. He will pass Aikamn as the longest tenured starting qb in team history.
Unless the defense can soon, very soon, get drastically and miraculously much better this is going to be very painful. Jones waited too long to groom Aikamns successor and we were left with the Campo years.

Jones is pushing all his cards in to win 1 more before he croaks, but it is not working.

I say trade Dak this off season get something for him when a team thinks he can make the difference there.

he was missing open receivers all game, they were mostly not drops, not even close

Also you can't throw 8 yard passes that far over a players head, that many times in your 11th season.

He is a joke... defense is a joke.

I don't care what anyone says. Lamb and Pickens... Give them to Mahomes, Josh Allen, etc... Same Offense, same defense.
It will not be the same results.

Just another for you to complain about Dak, because thats all you got , nothing but complaints.

The contract was handed out two years ago. Which I was advocating against.

Did you know defense would be this bad after three years? Did anyone?

We have had three bad defensive drafts in a row. This year seems to be different with downs and braham.
On top of that trading for less than jags like Murray, Gary and winters.

Its not about money going to dak. 12 teams have QBs with 50M salary or more, yet they build defenses. 10M is not the issue with Dallas.

Our idiot GM just throws out draft picks and his scouting department cant find any defensive players in the draft outside of getting lucky.

Worst run franchise in all of NFL.

Shouldn't an 11yr vet have the will power to change the play to a slant play instead of going with a **** play that he knows shotty just gave him?

Dak is just as wrong as the coach. Dumb and dumber.

If you see something, say something.

Dak doesn't have the stones to tell shotty that this play is crap for this particular situation.
