On the second down incompletion on the last drive, I started swinging my arms in the incomplete motion. My wife looked at me and said, why the hell are you doing that? Then she said, it's early in the season, you don't have to win.

She has so much to learn

When was the last time the Cowboys had a Top 5 kick returner?

Man, and we have Adam Jones returning punts now too.

Man, I got to find me the special teams thread, because what I personally beleived was a weakness on this club just totally kicked Philthies butt tonight. We allowed one decent kick return, but otherwise, it was 1 and 10 phillies on the 25.

Hell of a special teams night. Felix is a special talent, but there was also a reason he was untouched on the kickoff return

What a game!

God Bless you. Yes, we kicked there butt all but one play. And Felix was incredible. Adam needs to stop trying to do too much but right now I wouldn't mess with him because his timing and confidence will eventually take him back to being premier and I expect him to run at least one back this year and wouldn't be surprised to see three or four.

They will game plan against Felix and we'll still get good field position from those pouch kicks.

Punting is McBriar nothing else to say.

Kicking is Folk who looks even better. Best rookie and sophmore kicker I've seen in a long time. In fact I'm trying to remember one better and only think of Venitari and that knuckle head for the Colts we picked up and fired. He was great at one time. Toni Frisch was great too as was the Grammaticas but that's all I can thing of. And Fold has greater effective range.

We have all the trappings of a championship club except for one thing maybe two. The lack of a killer instinct to put them away. And too many mistakes which I think causes that.

We are a top five team in the entire league and arguably number one. I think we are the only team that can beat us out of a SB.

:D

worst part is, she really does know what is going on.

I remember back in the loss to Seattle in 2005 on the Bledsoe INT, on the way home she said, I knew they wouldn't score a TD late, they would run 24 into the line twice and then throw an incompletion. She said if I knew what Parcells was going to do, don't you think the Seahawks did.

After picking my jaw off the floor, I said you are right. I never questioned her anymore re the game ;)

Yeah but your resolution probably lasted more than just about everybody in the USA. :) (lasted til Sept)

That would be good, but I didn't make the resolution until August.

While I try not to get too worked up, it's philly and I can't help it. I was sooooo ticked at the refs for the blow PI call on Henry, I was seething. Then when westbrook ran the ball in I was flipping out because of the huge hold on Jenkins.

That Offensive PI call that was called on us was a turning point. They scored 24 in 2nd quarter. I was livid.

I am not spent, I am pretty pumped, I kinda want to go tackle something.

Let me clarify. I am emotionally spent.
Physically I could go another quarter. ;)

At least I wasn't the only one to notice. It was on the screen to Barber I believe. He was just nailed in the face and should have been an extra 15.

I also thought the Eagles got away with holding all night long.

That was BS. Either call it everytime or done. Agreed.

Skip the massage and go straight to the happy ending. :)

I may not get to sleep tonight.

The penalties almost drove me to push the couch out of the window.

Anyone notice how the camera's pulled back when McNabb was in the huddle to show TO in the background? Great theatre

The rookies already paying off. Scandrick deflection, Felix TD and all over the place.

Why no penalty for Romo getting whacked in head? (dont remember exactly when but it was clear as day)

I saw that too. It seems we always get more penalties and the other team gets away with more. What a pumped up game tho!! I will take the win!!
Go Cowboys!! Nothing was safe in my living room tonight:laugh1:
