I think it was more the D game plan than that our secondary cannot cover.

You shouldn't be worried, you should be enjoying the WIN. Every game isn't gonna be a blowout. As a WINNER you have to know how to WIN in all situations. Romo said that after the game, he said it was nice to be in that situation and find out what the team could do. Our D is 12-1 and will be just fine. Relax and enjoy the ride...

romo is the reason we won....ellis helped out at the end also...ware the series before...none of them are playing in our secondary...as far as stats...we can make them say whatever we want...those that work with statistics know that...all i know is...:
Jason Campbell moved the ball downfield on us and he all the sudden looked like a star...if not for Romo, Ellis and Ware we would have lossed...
Aaron Rodgers who barely ever through an NFL pass moved the ball downfield and if it wasnt for Romo, Ware and Ellis we would have lossed that game...
Today, same thing...Kitna looked like a probowler...if there was no kick of the ball by the lion defense we lose irregardless of what Romo, Ware and Ellis did.
Think about the whole year...i am not going to go through every game....the rookie for the bills...Eli in the 1st game..etc.etc.etc...we make mediocre qb's look like stars...stars look like superstars....bad qb's look like good players...that's the bottom line. I wish it wasnt true. We are 12-1 but not because of anyone in the secondary except newman and if we want to win it all its not going to happen playing this way. Anyone with any football knowledge would know that. Sure I want us to win but I know its not going to happen when we get to the superbowl if we get that far.

If you cant read my post and see what I am saying I dont know what to tell you. If you are not worried about us letting several QB's who have no business moving the ball on us then I dont know what to say....we should have shut alot of them down...I dont think we can. It will show up in the playoffs...

Sorry guys but I've GOT to side with the doom and gloomers on this one. That defensive effort today was BRUTAL. Not good intensity, effort, technique or execution. A 'D' grade in my book. My god, they didn't get any push on Kitna until there was 3 or 4 minutes left in the game. Totally unacceptable. 12-1 is great, but I agree with the other posters, we're due for a 1st or 2nd round exit playing pass defense like this. Just isn't good enough, and everyone knows it.

lets go through the games...forget the stats....can every cowboy fan really be happy with letting all of these QB"s move the ball on us when you know that any dominant team that we have had in the past would have shut them down?

These guys would not even have sniffed the end zone against any of the superbowl teams in the 70's or the 90's...you know it and I know it...thats the truth...no doom and gloom...whats going to happen when we face brady again? dont tell me about injuries because every team has players playing injured this time of the year....what going to happen when we face Brady in the superbowl? he torched us already...we made welker look like a hall of famer! thats why I am worried...love the fact that we won the division but I am looking ahead and I am worried..what if the seahawks or Bucs beat us in our 1st game of the playoffs? it could happen...its possible with our D...but for most 14-2 teams of 15-1..whatever we finish at...it wouldnt be as possible in most cases...

He keeps saying things like "if it wasn't for Romo, if it wasn't for Ware, if it wasn't for Ellis"... Uhhh.... They are on our team, so why would you say "if it wasn't for"? You need to account for them because they help us win. The stats don't lie. If teams want to dink and dunk and pick up first downs, that's fine. But aslong as our team keeps working the way they have, we should have the same winning results. 12-1!

I agree wish we had Woodson,haven't been the same since.Hernery plays 12 yards off most receivers which is an automatic first down and hamlin he seems never in a play to assist the corners,that being said he will catch a pass if it's right to him.Jacq Reeves Is a waste in my opion and Roy is slowing down as we all know.Good thing we have 2 1st round draft picks,gee I wounder who we will pick.Die hard fan since 1965,we are close guys but until we fix secondary and a replacement left tackle,wr,andsomeone to replace Julious...well you get the picture,but I still think we can give new England a run for the money as we all know the boys rule!!!!!jd
