I Am Worried For Romo Now

Every team we play will have one thing on their mind..............knock Romo out of the game and they win.

Weeden showed today why the Browns gave up on their first round pick after just 2 seasons, when teams game plan for Weeden they can totally shut down our passing attack and then stack the line to shut down Murray.

Every team in the NFL realizes this now, so if I was a defensive coordinator I would come after Romo hard with a ton of exotic blitzes in the 1st quarter and even if we don't sack him, put him on the ground hard. We all know the refs never call roughing penalties against Romo, so I tell my defense to take an extra step or two and unload on Romo, even if the ball is gone.

I would trade one or two 15 yard penalties in the first quarter if I got to play against Brandon Weeden for the remaining 3 quarters. So if I am thinking that way, I am dam sure the other teams in the NFL are thinking that way as well.

In short, Romo now has a giant bullseye on him and everybody is going to be trying to lay the wood on him and knock him out of games................This is what I am worried about now.

The line is going to have to snap out of whatever funk they seem to be in, period, regardless of Romo's back. I'd imagine teams have always known that taking out Romo is the key to beating the team. Same with any team is a great QB.

I suspect every team going forward will be blitz heavy with the idea that the extra hits (if not sacks) on Romo may knock him out.

It's up the Cowboys to devise a strategy to burn those blitzes.

In all fairness, 75% of the teams would lose without their starting QB.

I would imagine that teams try to knock Peyton Manning out of games.

Hasn't that always been the case. Everyone knows we are dead without him.

You don't even have to game plan for Weeden. He can't make the throws.

The thing is ROMO can, so for now, a heavy dose of Murray until Romo gets healthier.

the whole team has been smelling their own winds. 7 games in and the OL is getting fancy presents. Randle with his idiocy dividing the team. Dez talking about a contract right after the loss today. Jerry hamming it up.

I think we won our super bowl at 6-1. I see collapse coming. Our defense is physically fraying and we're getting outcoached and out toughed.

we were teased again

We are going to need to use a lot of max protect until Romo gets back to 100%, we cant leave him a sitting duck like he was against the Skins.

That would be my game-plan also. I can't believe Weeden is this bad. Did our scouts not see this?

I think everybody wrote it off as "it was Cleveland and everybody sucks in Cleveland".

For once, the Browns were right.........................Weeden sucks regardless of what uniform he is wearing.

romo will just go down now.

the move he made against washington where he would take the worst hit ever still has me scratching my head.

I still don't get why he turned his back to Kerrigan. Would have been much better to take the shot to the front.

I don't see that. Team played hard this week. I think they will continue to do so going forward.
