Yep. He did. Just took it to the side when the media showed up today.

I'm not so sure he ran routes. This is from the NY Post article:

"but once the rest of the team separated for the “Protect the Duke’’ ball-security drills, Beckham headed straight for the sideline to work with trainers. Beckham, off to the side, did a series of non-impact stretching and movement exercises."

If he plays I don't think he will be all that effective other than straight routes, but he can certainly do some damage on crossing/go routes.

There's a topic on the giant forums about how they were reading our forums and we were all cheering that Odell was injured. Which is a lie, but all the giants fans were believing it.

I think it's more than likely ODB suits up this Sunday.
The question will be at what percent will he be.
I would start the game by press covering him and jamming him to make him really stress the ankle.
If ODB was caught on video beating up 10 women, then driving drunk 120 mph in down town Manhattan carrying a case of loaded AR's in the passenger seat of his car, he would still be playing on Sunday night and probably the rest of the season.

Meh....I want us rub their face in the mud when they're at full strength. We can't be expected to make a SB run if we're worried about who's on the field.

First thing I would say to him if I were a cornerback defending him ..

"Hey man, glad to see you're okay. It would really suck to get seriously injured without a new contract." :D

To be honest, I think this is the exact reason he won't play unless he's 100%. Remember he spent the off season criticizing NFL pay structure ( say it should more in line with NBA) AND letting be known he expects to be one the highest paid PLAYERS in the league. With that being said, he strikes me as a player where its all business now until he gets a new deal. Other words, I don't expect him to leave a lot of blood and sweat on the field for his team/teammates.

Odell Beckham - WR - Giants
According to SNY's Ralph Vacchiano, Odell Beckham seemed "more hopeful than confident" that he'll play Week 1 against the Cowboys.

Beckham simply said he's day to day and doing everything he can to get ready. He officially didn't practice Wednesday, and coach Ben McAdoo said he's not yet cleared to play. McAdoo added if Beckham is cleared then he will play, but if he isn't then he'll be out. Simple as that. It seems 50-50 or a tad better at this point. We'll learn more on Thursday and Friday heading into the weekend.

Odell Beckham - WR - Giants
Odell Beckham (ankle) officially did not practice Wednesday.

Coach Ben McAdoo said Beckham has yet to be cleared to play after injuring his ankle earlier in the preseason. On Wednesday, OBJ did some light jogging in warmups and then moved to side work with the training staff when team drills began. For now, we'd still bet on Beckham playing Sunday.

He definitely has a hard decision to make. If he plays and is not 100%, he risks a worse injury or he risks looking bad on national TV. If he doesn't play to avoid a worse injury, his ego misses out on a national TV prime time game.

Personally, I think he will play .. I'm just rooting for another temper tantrum :D

I think he'll play and then beg off the field with a drama filled scene to preserve his health at some point. The media will then praise him for being a warrior.

They must have us confused with Eagles fans. We don't cheer on injuries here...

He does not have an injure ankle from that hit from the cleveland browns it is clearly his knee, he may play but it is still going to be tender.
