Good point, Hos.

CaptainAmerica said:Nors, if you think the Eagles are paying T.O. $5 million tomorrow, you have lost touch with reality and completely forgotten about the disaster the Eagles dealt with and endured the past season. That organization despises T.O.
Any team in this deal is going to want to restructure that contract.
Could they trade him? Sure they could, but another team is going to want some protection for them in that contract after last year's fiasco.
This isn't a question of how cap-friendly the current deal is.
To simply accept his current contract with no changes in the language or bonus structure would be MALFEASANCE on the part of a G.M.

Nors said:Letting TO get to Free Agency is what TO wants. Keeping TO away from Dallas?
TO can't do squat about a trade but "hold out"? Why do they keep sending me home Drew?
Or Lurie drops TO's carcass on street on June 2nd!
Miss this the first time?Nors said:Letting TO get to Free Agency is what TO wants. Keeping TO away from Dallas?

If Dallas already has a deal with TO and it has a 15 million bonus like you think. Then why would TO care? He would make more money under your scenario and it would make the eagles look petty by holding a grudge. So in Nors logic:
Wednesday - 5 million
End of March - 2.5 million
June 2 - 15 million bonus
Total this year: 22.5 million, eagles owner really shows up TO and Drew. TO miserable about his 22.5 million dollar 2006 payoff.

There's TO's 2006 Salary - NFLPA - Aint reality funny.
Big Hat - No Cattle
Those base salaries don't include his roster bonuses.Nors said:http://www.nflpa.org/Members/main.asp?subPage=Player+Search+Results

Oh well, we will see.

You would have to get the Mods and Nors to agree to that deal. I don't see either jumping on it.DBoys said:Thats why I bet the ban cause it isout of his hands. Mods would enforce regardless.
