I will have no idea (I'm just a 40-watter...) if we're lined up in a 3-4, 4-3, or under- or over-shifted variety of any of those, i've got a bad suspicion. with all the rookies and other new faces, how do you guys do at remembering who's who? i'll need to keep a roster handy for the game - something i've never done before i don't think.
there will be so much to watch, i already wish i had Tivo. there is a lot of curiousity/apprehension/excitement about this team - even Parcells' first year didn't have it, because everyone realized that team was not going to contend for anything. this year, that's changed...
now let's see - JJ is #21, MBIII is...?

Does anyone else think it's weird to see a cowboy runningback wearing #28?

He won't be wearing it at the beginning of the season, hopefully. But it wouldn't matter who wore the number, because nobody will ever represent it with the same class and effort Woody brought to the field, IMO.

As for what you should do to remember player numbers. Buy a program if you're at the game. Or print a copy of the depth chart and hope for the best.
