I guess we have to root for the Cardinals one more time.

Worst super bowl ever? I don't know about that but it will be close.

awww.

you need a crying towel?

Nope.

But I would recommend that you use softer tissue and maalox.

You have to troll, hijack threads and carry over anger and vendettas from thread to thread.

Not sure what is up your butt, but softer tissue and maalox should help with it.

spread will be 8-9

I bet you would like to play a 9-7 team from the afc?

who cares

boring match up but its the superbowl

Listen, no Cowboys and I really don't care.

However, here's my bullet points:

1. It won't be "boring" by any stretch.
2. Mission accomplished - NO RING FOR THE EAGLES.
3. Parity rules, so get used to impostors and counterfeits in the SB.
4. You just gotta' like Warner's story. You just gotta' root for the guy.
5. Steelers & the six ring thing. Gives ya' a reason if you're a Cowboy fan.
6. Cardinals, not a "hot dog" show-off, "yo-yo wat's up" team. I like that.
7. Steelers, " " " " " " " " " " " " " "
8. Fitzgerald already put Rice's record to bed. I despise Jerry Rice.....
9. Gotta' watch, because the only other stuff on will be billiards, poker, bowling, soccer re-runs and girls volleyball.
10. Both coaches are good guys. I'd take either of 'em, over "you know who".
11. Romo and T.O. could watch Warner & Fitz, and learn a thing or two..
12. Troy Palamanu..............
13. Jerry can watch and learn a thing or two from the Rooney's........
14. Larry Fitzgerald.........
15. Cardinals offensive line. How long can they hold this thing together? THE matchup will be between THAT Offensive line and the Steeler Defense. And, judging by what that line did today against and equally good Eagle defense, should be interesting..............

Anyway, I hate this new (especially in the NFC) "anyone could go" thing. Because that's what this is. Next year it'll be the Saints, the Falcons, the Commanders............who knows, maybe even the Cowboys. But it is what it is, so I'm gonna' watch. And (I'm swallowing hard here), I'm pullin' for the (gulp, cough, cough) Cardinals.....................................

here's what i posted in another thread

some quick playoff stats because i'm bored.

warner: 770 yds passing, 8 TD's, 2 INT's.
arizona rushing: 335 yds, 2 TD's
defense: gives up a lot of yards but 12, TWELVE, forced turnovers. good lord.
fitz: 417 yards receiving, 5 TD's

and this was against the falcons, panthers, and eagles.

them forcing ben into mistakes will be the key. also if fitz/warner can stay healthy the whole game the cardinals can definately walk away from this as the Super Bowl champs

I think Arizona will put up more points than the Steelers. The Steelers offense is brutal. Arizona has already beaten better offensive teams in the playoffs.

Worst ever? Only if the Steelers win it.

BTW, isn't it not a question of if, but to what degree the Cards get screwed by the refs? I never used to say such things, but that last Seattle Super Bowl was beyond belief.

Can't live in a world where The Seattle Seasux are the SB Champions. So I don't care HOW they lost. Main thing: They lost.

And, unfortunately, I can't live in a world where the Cardinals are a SB Champ either. The Earths axis would shift. The Heavens would dissolve. The balance of the universe would go haywire.

Personally, I'd rather the Cardinals won, but it simply cannot happen. That would be like Madonna winning an Oscar. It would overturn any semblance of order in the universe...............

My biggest problem with this super bowl, other than the flavor of the year parity crap that puts a team like the Cardinals in and then sees them go 6-10 next year, is that the Cowboys played both teams and should have beaten both teams.

and didn't.

....which is why we get to sit at home and watch two Super Bowl teams battle it out.

As it should be.

I disagree. A few weeks ago I didn't think I would care about the Super Bowl, now I'm ready to party and cheer on the Cards.

Its a great story. Wiz, Fitzy, Boldin and maybe Edge can get what he missed out on in Indy.

I can honestly say that saying a SB is one of the worst ever - BEFORE IT IS PLAYED - is perhaps one of the stupidest statements ever made

Worst SB? Did you miss the 49ers/SD Superbowl? Cards aren't even close to being as bad as that SD team.

Why are people so caught up on the record of the Cards?

They are playing good ball and have played some DAMN GOOD games.

Who cares what the record is if the team is out there kicking *** and making for a good game?

Larry fitzgerald is the best reciever in the league. You get the ball in his hands and the wheels start turning. I love TO but this last year i didnt see that ability in him. maybe that was garrets fault maybe not who knows. It just feels like if warner throws the ball in Fitz direction hes gonna go nab it. i hope if they lose the superbowl he becomes disgruntled with the cards like he was at the beginning of the 08 season and jerry offers him a billion dollars. speaking of which is the NFL gonna do the capless season?
