In week 14....Bledsoe goes back to pass and gets blindsided.....going to the ground with a concussion....Romo comes in and saves the day.......Still groggy the following week, Romo gets the start.....impresses to a 27-10 win....Following the game.....Parcells says he's going with the hot hand and gives Romo a shot to start the playoffs.....He wins......the cowboys go to Miami....and Bledsoe once again gives way to his young apprentice.......

I should say I'm only talking here and would never wish to see this actually happen....It would be the worst scenario Drew could possibly imagine.....and I doubt Big Bill would do that to his buddy.....

Maybe the more likely scenario is that BP sticks with his the veteran QB to his dying day and Bledsoe takes us to the NFC Championship game and looses. Just like with the New York Jets, BP thinks he's taken the team far enough that proves how good he is so he retires.

Then, just like Tampa Bay Bucs, Tony Dungee is the reason for getting the team out of the gutter, but leaves and the replacement immediately changes QBs and goes on to win the SB the next season.

So you're saying that nepotism is more important to BP than winning?

Has anyone been "Walley Pipped" twice ?

I remember this scenario (or one like it) with Steve Beuerlein in 1991...

Edit: Added...

...Well one where Troy went down and the backup came in and did great and fans started the controverse.

Then Steve Beuerlein joined another team (Cardinals???) and failed because he didn't have that great Cowboys team behind him anymore...

Then Drew Bledsoe wakes up and realizes it was just a nightmare. Get's up, turns on Sport Center, and sees Romo went 26-32 with 390 yards and three TD's. He then shrieks in agonizing pain.
