In a league whose cap structure favors building through the draft, THIS is the way to do it. If they're able to get this type of haul for a couple of years straight, this can blow the Hershel Walker trade completely out of the water. Imagine having somewhere between 15 - 20 picks in the Top 100 over the course of two consecutive drafts. That's absolutely insane.
Before you complain about them not forcing an early QB pick, this is pretty close to the Parcells model of rebuilding. You basically tank your first year, assess what you have, stockpile more early picks, then make a push in Year 2.
Granted, it's the Browns, and they could still screw up the actual picks or sabotage themselves on game days, but this is the new model for maintaining a competitive advantage under the current CBA.
