Many of you disappoint me tonight, Wade's gotta go, Romo's gotta go, _________'s gotta go, COME ON GET A GRIP! The Cowboys just had the most amazing run into the playoffs in 14 years and rid themselves of many demons along the way. I get being disappointed, the team sucked today, but the Vikes were the better team and had a week to rest, give'm their due. Perhaps this will motivate the Cowboys to go get homefield next year and not waste it like in '07. I don't know how the future will turn out next season or after but this coaching staff has earned another year just because of the run they had up to this game. Put it in perspective folks I believe better things are still to come next year.

People are pissed, as well they should.

We flat out got beat by a better team. So far it's shaping up just the way it should. The two best teams are playing, and I believe we're 3rd in the NFC.

We COULD beat Minnesota, New Orleans, Indy, or NYJ playing our A game, but the fact is we werent the better team today, or this season.

Little too early for pep talks or silver linings.
That's fine. I guess I made up my mind this season was a success after beating the Eagles, win or lose today.:)

I think the problem is that we didn't play like No.3

This isn't a pee wee football game, this is the real deal. Win, you're a success, lose, you're trash, or an up and coming team.

I don't know who we are now, let's see the draft, free agents, and coaching changes if any first.

I wanted Wade Phillips to do well, but I really don't think this team can win the Big One with him as coach. A team takes on the personality of its coach.
No one can say that the Jets have more talent than the Cowboys. They don't have a better quarterback, don't have better runners and if their defense was better, it's only by a little.

And yet with a game plan to protect their quarterback and play stout defense, the Jets leave San Diego with a win and we leave Minnesota with our tails between our legs moaning about a 40-year-old quarterback running up the score.

Oh well, hope - and foolishness - springs eternal next year.

That's what everyone like to say or think but for this team after this decade and a half we as fans have been through, I label it a success.

Getting beat by 14 points is onething, getting beat 34-3 is another.I think Mn. is a better team than I thought they were but this team was ill-prepared to face a Pop Warner team today much less the Vikings.Getting beat like they did today is an indication to me that something needs to be changed.

Apparently, Tyke feels so strongly about it, he decided to post it three times.

:)

It is always the same...The Boys lose and the little girls cry<sigh>...

Off with their head

Great post... I think the Cowboys over achieved this year honestly. I'm proud of the growth they showed. I fully expect next year to be even better.

I don't know how that happened. :)

And don't forget the babies who can't handle anyone criticizing their beloved mother, I mean, team. ;)

Thanks, appreciate it.

The reality is that this season was in almost ALL ways WORSE than 2007. Definately no better. The brass tacks are that we made it to the divisional round both years and lost...except 2007 was by a point, not a thrashing. I suppose one could see the positive in the wildcard win and it was fun beating Philly 3 times in a season, but the end result is the same. I'm not sure how you can predict what next year will bring. We didn't make it in 2008 after going to the playoffs in 2007,so.... I remember getting there with Quincy Carter no less. Each year is different as we all know. It may very well be worse than this year. Any time there is a big let down, there won't be a whole lot of positive light that can be believed. It will be another year of wait and see and another "maybe next year". I truly think the team has turned a corner, but what they do with it is anybody's guess.
